Thin Crust BBQ Jackfruit Pizza

Serves: 3 - 4 pizzas
- 1 can young green jackfruit, drained, rinsed and cores removed
- ½ tsp coconut sugar
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 - 2 tbsp olive oil
- ⅓ cup bbq sauce

- Optional toppings: green peppers, kale, pineapple. basil leaves, nutritional yeast
- In a medium bowl, combine the jackfruit, coconut sugar and spices and mix until evenly coated
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned jackfruit once the pot it hot
- Cook for about 4 - 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the jackfruit begins to get some colour
- Add the bbq sauce and enough water to make a sauce, stirring well
- Reduce the heat and allow to cook for 20 - 30 minutes (the more time the deeper the flavour)
- Store any leftover jackfruit in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Preheat the oven to 375F, line a baking sheet with parchement paper and set aside
- Spread bbq sauce on the lavish bread, leaving about ½ inch of space around the edges
- Top with desired toppings (except nutritional yeast) and bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until the edges of the lavish bread begin to brown
- Remove from the oven, slice, sprinkle with nutritional yeast and devour
- Best when served immediately
