Homemade Healthy Granola

A simple recipe for healthy granola
Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • ½ seeds (e.g. pumpkin & sunflower seeds)
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce*
  • ⅓ cup honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 300C
  2. Add oats, nuts and seeds to a large mixing bowl
  3. Whisk together wet ingredients in a small bowl
  4. Pour wet ingredients over dry and mix well. Don't worry, there's enough of the liquid mixture to coat everything!
  5. Once everything's combined, spread evenly over a lined baking sheet
  6. Bake for 45-50 mins or until golden brown, stirring every 10 mins to avoid burning
Notes
*Check the baby food aisle for applesause or other fruit purees. The come in super convenient ½ cup portions!
