31 Days of Tea Reviews

1 October, 2013 by Giselle Rochford 5 Comments

Twice in one day!?!?! Oh Yea! lol

A little background:

#31Days is a link up hosted by Myquillun over at thenester.com. It ‘s basically an online challenge where you have to write a post about the same thing for each of the 31 days in October. I’ve started almost 2 days late because I only found out about it tonight, but I’m pretty stoked to be participating! 😀

Why tea?

31 Days of TeaWhen I made the transition to healthier eating one of my first bad habits to go was caffeine. Don’t get me wrong, caffeine in itself isn’t a bad thing, the problem was in the ways I got my daily dose. I’d chug sugar filled drinks like coca cola, sprite, iced cappuccinos…the list goes on.
Anyway, one of my friends recommended drinking tea as a replacement and it worked for a while – I successfully kicked my sugar drink habit for about 6 months. Then came summer :S. Needless to say I had a serious relapse and am now once again a caffeine & sugar drink fanatic.

Anyway, 31 Days of Caffeine Withdrawal seemed a little harsh, so the idea for 31 Days of Tea was born. Hopefully it will be my 31 step program to a sugar drink free life 🙂

Wish me luck!

Thanks Kathy! Hopefully by the end of this month I will too 😉
Also, feel free to give suggestions on any teas you think I should try…I’m taking all the help I can get with this one lol.
      Thanks for stopping by!

Ahh! This is so awesome. Don’t hesitate to get your hands on some Buttered Rum tea. If you have access to a David’s Tea shop, try The Skinny — amazing! And remember, drinking tea is not all about taste, it’s about the experience. Be free.

I’ve never been to David’s Tea but there is one in KW so I can definitely add both those teas to my list! 😀
Oh and about the experience…I think I just got a new scoring category! Once I figure out how to rate experience ofc 😉

      Thanks again Chantal
