Hey Friends! How’s it goin?
So, last night was my last exam. I’d love to say that it was awesome, but it wasn’t. But I’m not gonna dwell on that now. Instead, I’m gonna celebrate the fact that I can now eat food again. Okay, so I ate during exam time, but usually it was just stuff that I could grab and go. As an ode to my hopefully last exam of my undergrad, here’s a typical day of eats when I’m in study mode.

Breakfast
Breakfast was usually my most exciting and elaborate meal of the day. Since I haven’t been baking any new stuff recently, I had to channel my creative juices somewhere. And because I love breakfast foods, going all out on breakfast every morning wasn’t exactly a chore.
Most mornings I had oatmeal – pictured below – but sometimes I had cereal, pancakes or toast and fruit.
Snacks
Snacks also took on a life of their own. I’d have a couple different snacks while studying to fuel me through my study sessions. Sometimes the snacks were fruity…
Sometimes they were salty…
And sometimes they were sweet…
Lunch
Lunch was hardly ever exciting, but it was always quick. Most days I’d get engrossed in whatever work I was doing and forget all about lunch. Especially if I had a lot of snacks to munch on while studying. So when I did remember that it was lunch, I wouldn’t be super hunger so I usually just grabbed a sandwich.
Drinks
I don’t like to drink too much coffee when I’m studying because it sends my sleep schedule out of whack, especially if I drink it too late in the day. I didn’t always succeed, but 80% of the time, coffee was regaled to the breakfast table. What I have been loving though for a little afternoon pick me up, are green juices made in the blender. I shared some tips for doing that on snapchat over the weekend, but if you don’t follow me here’s how you do it…
Step1: Wash, peel and cut your fruit and veggies
Step2: Blend with some water
Step3: Strain using a fine mesh colander (or cheesecloth if you have it)
Step4: Pour into a glass or mason jar and top with ice
p.s. For more quick tips like these, you can follow me on snapchat. Just go to ‘add users‘ -> select ‘search by username‘ -> search for ‘exsloth‘. See ya there 😀
Dinner
And dinner was once again something quick and thrown together. Sometimes it would be another sandwich, and sometimes it would be a salad. Considering how much I claim to not like these things, I’ve been eating them quite a bit recently…
What about you?
What do you eat when you’re studying or busy at work? Do you make green juice in the blender? Or do you have a juicer? What’s your favourite juice combination?

I love your ideas. When I’m working a lot, I drink more smoothies. It’s quick and packed with nutrients. I blend it on high so it’s liquified, like a juice, but a little thicker. I’m going to go out and check the Beanitos. Congrats on finishing exams.

Oh geez. When I’m at home studying or working, I literally want to eat everything in sight. There’s just something about having to concentrate a lot that revs my appetite like nothing else. Trail mix is a favourite, as is popcorn, cereal, dried fruit, and chocolate <3

Out Looks Are Very Good, Its Good Service in This Time
I adore the concepts you have. I drink more smoothies while I’m working a lot of hours. It is nutrient-rich and fast. It’s liquified, like a juice, but a little thicker, because I blend it on high. I’m going to investigate the Beanitos outside. Congratulations on passing your examinations.
