Pumpkin Chai Tea Review

14 October, 2013 by Giselle Rochford 7 Comments

Hey There!
I’m finally back after a weekend of radio silence. I was plagued by headaches on and off all weekend and decided to take a break from the computer for a bit 🙁 But I’m back again, feeling better and ready to tell y’all about a new tea 😀

Pumpkin Chai Tea

The Tea:

I finally made it to David’s Tea on Saturday and picked up one of their starter kits along with some Pumpkin Chai Tea. This black tea contains a mixture of cinnamon, cloves, lemon peel, squash, carrot, caramel bits and pumpkin candies. So basically heaven in a bag 😉

The Preparation:

Use 1.5 tsp per cup and steep for 4 – 6 minutes in 98°C water.

The Smell:

The Pumpkin Chai tea definitely smelled like baked pumpkiny goodness. After making a bazillion pumpkin treats this weekend, it was nice to get that amazing scent without having to do all that work 😉

The Taste:

I’m not sure if I’m saying this right, but the pumpkin chai tea had a full bodied taste. What I mean is that nothing was missing or shortchanged. It didn’t give a hint of pumpkin spice and leave you wanting for more, it tasted like the real deal! YUM! I can’t wait to try this recipe to see how it holds up as a latte! I see amazing things in my future 😆

The Benefits:

The Pumpkin Chai Tea has all the benefits of chai tea as well as the added benefits of lemon peel, which is not only great for your skin, but is a natural immune system booster.

The Experience:

Drinking the Pumpkin Chai tea was probably the best tea drinking experience so far. It totally satisfied my insatiable desire for pumpkin without making me feel guilty for gorging on baked goods :D. It’s definitely going to become my go to tea for fall (and maybe the rest of my life ;))

p.s. I may try to double up on teas later on in the month but for now it’ll still be one a day

Do you love pumpkin as much as I do? Try the Pumpkin Chai tea from David’s Tea and tell me what you think!

I’m thrilled about the concept of alphabet blocks, fostering early learning. I stumbled upon those charming wooden blocks at a local artisan market. Each block has its own story. By the way, have you considered incorporating Tg Macro to streamline tasks? It’s an efficient auto clicker, simplifying various processes seamlessly.

The iced beverage combines the dino game traditional chai spices with a creamy pumpkin flavor that’s perfectly sweet (but not too sweet).
