Hey Friends! How’s it goin?
I’ve been working on a few guest posts for different blogs for this month and the first one – Dairy Free Christmas Maple Cookies – went live over at Kitchen Frolic this weekend.

Stephanie of Kitchen Frolic is holding her annual Cookie Recipe Advent Calendar this month. Basically she reveals a new cookie recipe everyday from December 1st to 24th. Sounds like fun right? So, when she sent out a call for participants in the Food Bloggers of Canada facebook group I had to respond. I’d never made my own Christmas cookies before but it was really fun developing this recipe and playing with the red and green sprinkles 😀
The cookies are dense and crumbly just like traditional sugar cookies but they’ve got less fats and are free of refined sugars. And, of course, they’re dairy free. Be sure to head on over to Kitchen Frolic to get the recipe for these Dairy-Free Christmas Maple Cookies!

These look delicious! I’ve been trying to find more dairy-free options lately, so this is perfect timing. On a related note, if anyone needs to cite the recipe or blog post in a paper, I found a free APA citation generator that made it super easy.
I never thought about making dairy-free Christmas cookies, but the idea of dense and crumbly textures actually sounds really appealing! Speaking of playing around with flavors and trying to guess what people are thinking, I recently discovered this fun online game where you give clues and try to read minds. It’s called Wavelength online, for free, and it’s surprisingly addictive.
