Hey Friends! How’s it goin?
On Friday, I shared my 5 best tips for maintaining your health and fitness during the winter. If you didn’t get a chance to read it, my last piece of advice was to have a backup plan for those days that you just can’t be bothered to leave the house. Fitness wise – for me – that means having a collection of workouts, that require no equipment and little to no space, so I can do them in my itty bitty bedroom.
Like I mentioned in this post about exercising at home effectively, it isn’t always easy for me to get motivated to workout so close to my bed. Most times I’d rather just take a nap so I think it’s imperative to have a plan. I took to the internet for some at home workout inspiration last week and today, I wanted to share some of the best no equipment workouts I found with you.

By the way, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve done roundup style posts for the last couple Mondays. The first was because I couldn’t figure out what to write and doing a roundup was one of my tips for over coming writers’ block. But when I was doing the second one I realised that I actually enjoy finding great links and putting the posts together. It’s a fun way to share the link love and you guys seem to enjoy them too, so I think I’ll make it a semi regular thing. Thoughts?
What about you?
Do you workout at home or go to the gym? What are some of your favourite at home workouts? Which of this have you tried or want to try? Would you like to see more roundup style posts on ExSloth?

Great round up, Giselle! Just made sure to share it on twitter. We actually have a very nice gym in our apartment complex so it makes working out at “home” very practical. I have a workout page on my own blog that shares workouts, some that don’t need weights as well.

I go to the gym, but it’s always important to have something you can do in your living room on days where you are lacking motivation, time or there is snow outside!

Great ideas. I love to workout at home, especially in the winter when it gets cold and I just want to go straight home instead of the gym!

I don’t like working out at home nearly as much because I find that I have the tendency to slack a little bit or just stop my workout when I get tired. When I have others around, even one person, I know I won’t give up. There’s probably an underlying issue there that needs to be addressed, haha. However, it is good to have some go-to workouts when those at home times arrise!

Confession: Even though I have a gym in my building, there are a lot of times where I just can’t be bothered to leave the comfort of home. Great roundup, lady!

I love this round up ๐ I am going to do a couple this weekend and find a few that I can do on nights I don’t want to wait for yoga classes. I get off work early– so if I come home and completely relax before classes at 6:30 begin, I have a hard time interrupting my evening to go… Wish they would do 5:00 classes!
