Hey Friends! How’s it goin?
I’ve got a question for ya: Have you ever heard of Working Woman Weight Gain?
No? I’m not surprised- I just made it up. It’s kind of wordy, so I’m open to renaming suggestions.
Anyway, what is it you ask? Well it’s basically the adult version of the freshman 15.
My Brush with the Freshman 15(x2)
When I was in first year, I gained almost 30 pounds- I was homesick, depressed by the cold and had seemingly unlimited access to all the junk food in the world. That did not make for a healthy Giselle.
It took a while, but eventually I figured out how to stay mentally and physically healthy in school, the pounds started to come off and I breathed a sigh of relief.
But this summer, I learned something while trying to juggle a full time job, blog responsibilities, volunteering positions and my social life: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be a lot harder in the real/working world than doing the same while in school. Fortunately, it’s not impossible.
Great guest post… always kind of work through lunch. It’s so bad but it’s the norm here ugh.

I used to always work through lunch, but then I realized how much happier I was during the day if I got out, and now always use that time to walk to a coffee shop 20 minutes away. I grab an Americano or green tea a lot of days, but sometimes I just take my lunch and sit outside and eat it- just as an excuse to get the activity in. I think it’s made me more productive in the afternoon, and it gets me a lot closer to 10,000 steps before the end of the work day.

This recipe is Coconut Cookie Dough Oats sound absolutely delicious! I love how you’ve combined the comforting texture of oats with the sweet, rich flavor of cookie dough. It’s such a creative and healthy twist on a classic treat. The addition of coconut must make it so aromatic and satisfying.
