Hey Friends! How’s it goin?
Yesterday I discovered that I have 2000+ food pictures on my phone. I decided to scroll through and reminisce about the awesome food I’ve bought, made and/or eaten, before deleting some of them.
But, going through those pictures, I realised that I’ve shared some awesome dishes in the past, that I LOVED, but hardly ever made them again. Does anyone else do that?
Since I’ve been getting quite a few new visitors around here lately, I figured, why not share some of my old favourites?
So my spin on this week’s WIAW post is a little different. Instead of sharing what I’ve been eating, here are 6 things I can’t wait to eat again. Enjoy!
What I Ate Want to Eat Again Wednesday: Recipe Resurrection Edition
In keeping with the oatmeal craze I’ve been going though, I really want to get back into the habit of making homemade granola. I made it a lot last Fall but phased it out in Winter to make room for my love affair with pancakes.
Speaking of pancakes…Brownie Pancakes anyone? These aren’t ooey gooey like the traditional brownie, but they remind me a lot of the brownies I used to get from a family run bakery back home. I could never figure out what made them so yummy, but once I tasted these pancakes, I knew it was the chocolate/crunchy peanut butter pairing. <- Childhood mystery solved
Peanut Butter Brownie Pancakes
And of course, there are the cheese smothered recipes that I’ve been craving (but avoiding!) since my elimination diet ended and I gave up dairy. How about a moment of silence for this sweet potato pizza that won’t grace my kitchen table until I find some dairy-free cheese that actually MELTS! <- suggestions welcome
Sweet Potato Pizza Crust {Vegan, Gluten Free}
Moment over. Why? Because I just realised I’ve still got chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate…and peanut butter 😀
Healthier Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Black Bean Brownie Cups
3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Finally, there are all the pictures that I cringed at and wondered what I was thinking when I put them up. My food photography is still mediocre at best but these pics were pretty bad. Can’t imagine it? Take a look at some of the recipes from my pumpkin obsessed Fall: Pumpkin Pancake Loaf and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Nut Cookies. I’ll definitely be making these again because…pumpkin, so they’ll be getting a revamp soon!
What about you?
What dishes have you LOVED but only made a few times?
Bloggers: Do weather conditions affect your picture taking abilities? I’m looking into getting my first camera; any suggestions?
Vegans and/or Dairy Free Readers: Is there a dairy free cheese that actually melts? I’ve tried TWO with no luck…

Mmm all those look delicious! Especially the 3-ingredient cookies.. they look exactly like cookie dough!
Also- if i were to go through all of my food pics and choose my favourites, they would DEFINITELY mostly consist of chocolate and peanut butter too 🙂

I love revisiting old favorites, and finding out how my tastes have changed, or how I have improved! On the other hand, I don’t have that much of a recipe library, but sometimes the best way to get new ideas is to go back to old ones!

My photos aren’t great but I use a Cannon G15 point and shoot. If you want the best point and shoot, I would say that one. If you want to go big league, get a DSLR and I have no clue about those suckers haha.

Every one of these recipe looks fabulous! I need to get my mom’s Rouladen recipe out and make it again. She made it when we were growing up so it’s like biting into my childhood!

This homemade granola recipe looks amazing! I love how you’ve combined such wholesome ingredients—it’s the perfect balance of crunch, sweetness, and nutrition. I’m always looking for healthy snack options, and granola is such a versatile choice. I’m excited to try it with yogurt or as a topping for smoothie bowls. Do you have any suggestions for making it a bit more protein-packed? Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe; I’ll definitely be adding it to my rotation!
