Hey There Friends! How’s it goin?
Before I get to the peanut butter cookies and the winner of the In the Dance Fitness Jamaica giveaway, I’ve got something to say:
Did you know that today is National Peanut Butter Lovers Day? I sure didn’t!
If you’ve known about this awesome day all your life and even have it marked in your calendar, you’ll have to forgive me! Remember, I haven’t always been a peanut butter lover ๐
Anyway, I found out about this yesterday and immediately decided I should stop studying and start baking the perfect peanut butter cookies.ย
Here was my first attempt:
Unfortunately, as lovely as they looked, these peanut butter cookies were wayyy too dry and a bit of a flop ๐ฅ
So after finishing my flour, and wasting about 1/2 cup of PB ๐ฏ I went back to studying YAY! <— that yay is more sarcastic than any sarcastic yay there ever was ๐
But this morning I woke up and was determined to make the best damn Peanut Butter Cookies the world has ever tasted. Or at least the most moist peanut butter cookies ๐ So I tried again.ย
The end result:
3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
I know I know. These are not as pretty…but man are the tasty ๐
And the best part? These peanut butter cookies are easier to make and are definitely better for you! SCORE ๐
1 bowl, 3 Ingredients (+ mixins if you wanna jazz them up), 10 mins in the oven and you are D-O-N-E!
What’s not to love? ๐
Usually when I’m baking, I’m so busy actually baking that picture taking is the last thing on my mind. But, since these peanut butter cookies were so easy to make, I had time for a couple action shots ๐
The ingredients:
ย
After mixing it all together & folding in a handful of chocolate chips:
All you do next is spoon out generous ‘balls’ of dough onto a greased baking sheet, bake for 10 mins and voila, super yummy peanut butter cookiesย ๐
The recipe made 12 and I’ve already eaten 4 ๐ณ My day is clearly off to a great start ๐
- 1 cup rolled oats*
- ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- Optional: 2 Tbs mix ins like semi sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or nuts
- Preheat oven to 350C
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, peanut butter and bananas until well incorporated
- Fold in any additional mix ins
- Spoon out equal sized balls of dough onto a greased cookie sheet. These cookies will not spread so make sure you have enough for a good sized cookie.
- Bake for about 10 minutes and allow to cool slightly (1 -2 mins) before devouring!
And if this recipe for peanut butter cookies wasn’t enough, here are a couple other peanut butter recipes for you to check out ๐

That’s how I make mine, too! Love them. I also love to add coconut flakes or you could do mint chocolate chips mmmmm!

Ohhh hard to believe the first ones were a flop! But that happens to me all the time….the prettier ones are the “bad” ones, lol. And I really should start jotting down these celebratory foodie days!
