I got a request for possible at home workouts a couple days ago, and I realised I never really covered them on the blog before. So it’s obviously time to change that.
I’ll share some actual at home workout routines later this month, but I thought I’d start with the tools you need for most at home workouts first.
Essential Tools for At Home Workouts
So you want to get fit, but you don’t have/want a gym membership. What do you do?
Well you could throw in one of those hilarious old aerobics DVDs, you know the ones…*cough*Richard Simmons*cough*.
Or you could get some at home workout tools and do most of the same workouts you could do at the gym. Just on your time and in your space.
Brilliant, right?
There’s a lot of different equipment you can get if you wanted to set up a more elaborate home gym, from a Bowflex to a squat rack and everything in between. But for beginners looking to do some strength training, these four are a great start to your at home workout equipment collection.

This is excellent! I have one down, so three more to get! I especially want to get the bands, they are the most portable. I feel like the only body part I can effectively workout at home is my abs. So insight into ANY other body part would be great! lol If it can be geared towards strength training that would be even better π Thank You
Thanks! Glad you like it π
I’ll maybe start with a full body workout next week and then legs/upper body the week after. Check back next Wednesday! π
Itβs really awesome collection. Thanks for sharing this list.
